TESTIMONIALS
I enjoyed this project with Jason and we absolutely love the results. We receive many impressed comments on our beautiful patio,
AG
Jason has been the gardener at out townhouse complex for a number of years. His knowledge of trees, plants soil and natural gardening principles is very appreciated. He works well with us and listens carefully to address our interests. Our grounds look healthy and well looked after!

Gardens are personal, so I think it's important to be met as a person.
Frankly, the transformation for me was a stunner. I had just a plain
old lawn, and just a couple of vague ideas about what I wanted to see on
it, and then I had a chat with Jason and he made some notes in his magic
notebook...and then in just a couple of weeks it all turned real. And
not only real, but exactly what I wanted! He grunted and groaned and
built it all by hand and took real pains to make it perfect: I wanted
it to be modest but cool, I said I wanted some flagstones, and also I
wanted a yield not only of vegetables but of fruit and flowers too,
pleasant but practical, and could he do that? Not only did he
accommodate all that nonsense of mine but he made it LOOK beautiful
too: natural, low-key, yet it's all very sturdy and it's built to last,
and I literally could not be happier with the way it turned out.
Exceedingly good value for money, but that's not all it is, and it never
was: because I wanted to be excited every time I looked out my front
door, and now I am. So in my opinion what's good is to have a landscaper
who meets you on your own level, someone who'll seriously listen and
then seriously problem-solve for you, and then seriously give you
options without those options becoming overwhelming. So the highest
recommendation to my friend here, the friendly fellow who sweated to
make it good for me. It's fully five-star service that I got, so it's
fully five stars that I give it. And that's on the solid.

PROJECTS I
Rock Work
With this Project, I had the pleasure of created garden spaces close to the house, helping define the space with eye-catching curved walls, a small patio space and stepping stones for my clients to be able to reach the plants without disturbing the soil. The portion above the patio will be for next years veggie and berry harvest and the right side across the side walk will be for flowering plants to attract birds and bees.
PROJECT II
More Rock Work
This Project was a lot of fun to do, especially as I witnessed the transition of this front yard. I covered it all in cardboard, my choice instead of landscape fabric. Then I brought in lots of organic soil and created separate sections of garden for shady or sun loving plants and walking spaces to give my client's access to the plants they chose for their new garden.
PROJECT III
Garden Install
This Project offered some interesting challenges. It's a long, narrow garden space with a pretty unsuccessful strip of lawn and a gentle slope toward the sidewalk. So I used the streams of river rock to slow the soil erosion and keep more of the rain water in the garden instead of carrying off all the soil into the sidewalk. The curly cues also break up the space visually, retain moisture and moderate temperature. It's hard to capture the space in it's entirety in photos but it's become a visual highlight for many in the neighbourhood.
